Discovering the Lofoten Islands is an itinerary of 5 days that will help you to explore this paradise above the Arctic Circle. The impressive views offered by the islands in winter including the Northern lights, marine life and the exlusive activities offered at this time of the year, make this tour a unique and unforgettable experience. This guided gateway is perfect for active travelers, nature lovers, families and also photograhers.


Day 1:Transfer from airport (Leknes or Svolvear)to the accommodation, welcome dinner. Condition permitting we will watch Northern Lights.

Day 2:After breakfast we will visit one of the main cities of Lofoten: Svolvaer. Located on the island Austvagøy, we will get toknow this picturesque town within the arctic circle. After the tour leaving the city behind us for a walk of no more than a couple of hours on snowshoes. Arriving to the top the mountain we can enjoy a panoramic view while having a nice hot drink. Get in back to the car, we head towards Henningsvaer. A small fishing village, located on rocky islands, where the tradition and culture of the Lofoten Islands is still alive.
Returning back to accommodation for a good dinner and a well-deserved rest. Condition permitting we will watchnorthern lights.

Day 3:After breakfastwe are starting the second day on the island Vestvagøy, heart of the Lofoten. Eggum, a small town on the north coast of the island, where we will paddle in kayak, in crystal clear waters, through channels between small islands and to be able to appreciate the unique beauty of these islands from the sea. Upon returning from this fantastic journey we will visiting the  Radar and the famous head sculpture of Eggum. We will return to our lodge to enjoy our dinner before returning to hunt the Northern Lights (if condition permitting).

Day 4:We are going to the island Moskenesoya, passing by the island Flakstadoya where we make our first stop, Nusfjord, a beautiful and picturesque fishing village. Continousing visiting Lofoten second oldest church, the huge icy beach of Flakstad and Rambergbefore will continue traveling to the south to visit Reine, one of the best known townof the archipelago. During the tour you will have the opportunity to take the best pictures of the winter wonderland with the help of your guide who is keen to help with your camera upon showing you all the best locations of Lofoten.
Returning to our accommodation where we will  enjoy a well-deserved dinner before leaving again to see for the last time the Northern Lights (if condition permitting).


Day 5:Transfer to the airport of Leknes or Svolvær.
